INTRODUCTION

Krazy Foods was established in the year 2006 had grown substantially in both growth of customer base and expansion of the business. We offer a variety of catering services.  During the course of the years, we have also opened a branch in ginnery corner by chipiku, opposite the polytechnic university and we have managed to cater for all kinds of purposes.   We cater for 3000 people a day.  We also cater for special functions such as weddings, meetings and other corporate services.  We have got a vast experience in the food industry and our main aim is to offer high quality catering services with our well qualified and experienced team.

HOW WE STARTED?

We started by opening a small take away in Blantyre and over the years we have experienced vast growth and taken up new ventures in the same field.

EXPERIENCE

Krazy Foods in Blantyre only cater for over 1000 customers a day.  We also have a branch in ginnery corner, next to chipiku, opposite the polytechnic university.
We are currently catering for 2000 people on-site at companies.
We also cater for over 100 people at the trade fair grounds for over one year.

ASSETS

We have a well equipped kitchen with all the facilities from production to packing.  We have over 80 employees who are well trained and experienced.
In addition we have our own vehicles to ensure that all our operation are carried out smoothly.

TRAINING

We make sure all our staffs are trained in the most appropriate way in all departments to ensure consistency and professionalism.  If necessary we pay for the courses available such as in Malawi Institute of Tourism (MIT).

NATIONAL CONTRIBUTION

We have adopted the policy of recruiting graduates from the University of Malawi, Polytechnic and other colleges by offering them part time work so that we can also get new ideas along with the recruitment and in the run appoint them on a contract basis and therefore contributing to the economic growth of Malawi.

PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE

We started of providing meals for only 50 customers, at present we are able to cater for 3000 customers a day and hopefully in future we intend to grow and face new challenges.

QUALITY POLICIES

“We believe in both quality and quantity” is not only our slogan but our pride and mentor in delivering the best in what we offer.

STOCKS

We store all our required things at one central place so that our operations and efficiency is never disturbed. We store all non-food items in quantity and all perishables are bought as per the requirement. This ensures our delivery and quality policies are always followed.

MENU

Attached is our menu. Our Menu caters for both locals and tourists, young, old and also kiddies meals. We also offer catering services to suite the needs of your requirements such as weddings, parties and other corporate functions.

DICOUNTED BULK ORDERS FOR COMPANIES

Many companies today opt for acquiring meals for their staff instead of giving them cash in hand as it can be misused and for that reason we extend our offer to those companies who want to acquire meals for their staff on a daily basis and therefore we work out a better price as it is long term and is convenient for both. Payment can be discussed upon agreement.

PROMOTIONS

We offer many promotions now and then and recently our trademark in promotion is our LOYALTY CARDS. This is where all our customers get a loyalty card, wallet size, in which the validity is for one month and in that one month, a customer gets a free ice cream, a free piece of chicken and a free meal of their choice. Its easy to use without complications, however terms and conditions apply. Below is how the loyalty card looks like.

FINANCIAL STATUS

We have sound bank accounts with FMB and National Bank in Blantyre to enable it to function properly.  Bank details can be provided on request.

OUR MANAGEMENT TEAM PROFILE

M.DIRECTOR:
He is overall in charge of the company’s performance.  His role is to make sure that delegation and responsibilities are well handed out to the junior employees and are being carried out effectively with constant feedback from the manager.  He believes that team work is very important for the running of a company.

MANAGER;
He follows instructions given out by the M.D. and implements them and makes sure everyone is constantly doing their duties in the manner required.

ASST. MANAGER;
H e does more or less the same as the manager.  This is because if the manger is overloaded with work, he can be assisted so that things flow smoothly.
Head Chef;
He controls all the production of the day or nay specified meal to be prepared.  Our quality assurance personnel make sure that all meals are freshly prepared.
He makes sure the food is on time and also follows our company slogan.  He has a team of asst. chef s and waitresses / waiters working under him.
He is qualified in food management and over the years has taken several courses in food handling and preparation.

STOCK CONTROLLER;
He makes sure that all purchases bought comply with our company policies.  We use the First in first out stock method as we are dealing with perishable items.  He makes sure that stock is always available for the day for whatever we have on our menu.  He was trained on the job and has taken up his responsibilities  up quite well.

SUPERVISOR;
He makes sure all employees are following up on their work and also make sure that all our customers are assisted in the appropriate way.  He also notes down the requirements of the customers and forwards it to  the management for further improvements.

COORDINATOR;
He makes sure that the food goes on time to the customers while at the same time following our slogan.  He makes sure that he coordinates with the head chef and the stock controller for any requirements.

ACCOUNTS CLERK;
He prepares all the wages and salaries due for all our employees.  He makes sure all our utility bills are paid on time and also handles petty cash.  He also acts as a human resources setting up interviews and recruitment if the need arises.

SALES PERSON;
He makes sure all our customers are assisted proper greetings for the customer to ensure that the customer feels welcome at all times.
