KFC Malawi Introduces Self-Service Kiosk to Enhance Customer Experience
By Joshua Mpinganjira, 12 November 2025
KFC Malawi is redefining the fast-food experience with the introduction of the country’s first self-service ordering kiosk, located at the KFC Haile Selassie branch in Blantyre. Launched on 30 October 2025, the innovation marks a major step in improving convenience, speed, and accessibility for customers.
The digital kiosk allows customers to browse the full KFC menu, customize their meals, and place orders directly—streamlining the process and reducing wait times. The move aligns with KFC’s global strategy of leveraging technology to enhance customer satisfaction and efficiency.
According to the restaurant chain, the kiosk system offers a “fast, easy, and totally original” way for customers to interact with the brand. It also gives customers greater control over their orders and provides a seamless experience from selection to payment.
“We’re always looking for ways to make it easier for our customers to access and enjoy our food,” said a KFC Malawi representative. “The kiosk represents our commitment to innovation and to continuously improving the way we serve our customers.”
The launch of the kiosk not only places KFC Malawi ahead of many competitors in the local fast-food industry but also signals a growing trend of digital transformation in the country’s service sector.
With the new system now live, KFC customers in Blantyre can be among the first to experience what the company calls “the future of ordering.”
